AND THE AWARD GOES TO…
With I Love Heartland only being up for a month and a half, who would’ve thought that we would have won an award so soon? Well, we did. And you’re the ones that we need to thank!
We did it!
Though it was very close, I Love Heartland tallied enough votes to take the PopVox Award for Best Company Use of Social Media.
This is a HUGE accomplishment! Not only do fans of Heartland have a television series that is considered a jewel amongst fellow Canadians, but now their official fan site has become an award winning site.
And it’s all because of you.
That’s right, it was you, the Heartland community, who voted and made it possible for us to be honored. If this tells us anything, it’s that Heartland fans are the most committed – by far!!!
If you’re unfamiliar PopVox, it recognizes the digital media industry in Vancouver, BC and rewards creators in many different categories. The voting took place during Vancouver Digital Week, while the awards are brought to us by New Media BC.
So, rest assured that not only do you have the best people delivering one of your favourite shows to your computer screens, but you can expect us to continue to raise the bar when it comes to your Heartland experience.
As we promised, we constructed a brand new Heartland wallpaper that can only be found through us. It’s what you may call a “thank you” gift for your votes. Where might you find it? Well, it’s attached to this article. And you can even get it for your iPhone!
